Montreal, Quebec, October 24, 2024 - At the seventh annual ÉTS Ambassadors Gala, Alexandre Stéphane Boucher, P.Eng., President-General Manager of JCB Construction Canada, was honored alongside six other inspiring individuals.

In front of more than a hundred guests, including members of the management of the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS-Montréal), the ÉTS Network and the selection committee, seven exceptional individuals were awarded the title of ÉTS Ambassadors. This honorary title celebrates individuals whose impactful actions bolster the university’s influence and reputation both in Quebec and beyond.

Under Mr. Boucher’s leadership, JCB Construction Canada has emerged as an industry leader, continually establishing itself as a driving force for change and innovation. His positive and human-centered approach to leadership reflects a unifying vision that prioritizes people above all, with a collaborative focus on solutions addressing the real needs of clients, communities, and the industry.

"I am deeply honored to be recognized by my alma mater. I firmly believe that with passion and discipline, it is possible to make a true difference in our industry. And I strongly believe that ÉTS provides all the necessary tools for anyone wishing to get involved, innovate and rethink industry practices," says Alexandre S. Boucher, P.Eng. President-general manager of JCB Construction Canada. "This award is a testament to the collective efforts of my team, who have been steadfast in supporting this transformative and collaborative vision that drives progressive change within our industry," he added.

Since graduating in 2012, Mr. Boucher has been an active contributor to ÉTS, including through an annual scholarship that supports outstanding students of the university.
