JCB Construction Canada Announces New Vice President, Construction

Previously serving as Project Director, Mr. Oruña will now take on this key leadership role to enhance the company's construction processes and overall project delivery. A McGill University graduate and experienced project manager, Alejandro Oruña brings great industry expertise to his new role. His reputation for effective collaboration with architectural and engineering professionals, along with his strong organizational skills, has made him a standout leader in managing complex construction projects. His proficiency in risk and cost management further has ensured the success of the company's most important mandates.
Since joining JCB in 2017, Mr. Oruña has overseen several of JCB’s most notable projects, including the construction of Collège Sainte-Anne's carbon-neutral campus in Dorval and the prestigious Royalmount food hall.

As Vice President of Construction, Mr. Oruña will be responsible for overseeing project management, ensuring teams have the resources needed for success, maintaining strong client relationships, and implementing process improvements to drive continuous growth. He will collaborate closely with Pascal Fortin, Vice President, Field Operations, and Denis Massey, Vice President, Finance, to lead, and inspire JCB’s construction team as the company continues to solidify its position within the industry.
