JCB was mandated by Ivanhoe Cambridge to install their new urban artwork called the Ring. This artistic installation, created by renowned CCxA (Claude Cormier + Associés inc.) was to be hung at the entrance of the recently revitalized Place Ville Marie Esplanade. Measuring 30 metres in diameter and weighing more than 23 tonnes, the installation presented an interesting challenge, with barely inches of clearance separating the ring from the two adjacent buildings. A true legacy for Montreal and one of the most significant projects in JCB's history
